Yubikey 5 c nfc3/2/2024 I think I would need to use some other Protocol if I was using KeePass for example. If you stumble across one of those, you'll propably figure it out with some research. The Yubkey 5 Series has Support for all Kinds of other Security Stuff, but those are pretty niche for End Users as myself. It functions exactly the same, the only Difference is, that the Secrets which what the App creates the one Time Passwords is stored securely on the YubiKey, not on the Phone or whatever else. All you gotta do is to use the Yubico Authenticator App instead (aviable on all Plattforms). If you ever used one, it's pretty straight forward to setup and use. The YubiKey 5C NFC is a hardware based authentication solution that provides superior defense against phishing, eliminates account takeovers, and enables. Those are the things you would use Apps such as Google Authenticator, Authy or others. YubiKey Manager (ykman) CLI & GUI Guideepending on when it was manufactured, the firmware on a YubiKey 5 Series key will be in one of three ranges: 5.1.1 - 5.2.2, 5.2.3 - 5.2.8 and 5.3.2 - 5.4.3. But it's straight forward to set up and use. FIDO and FIDO2 are the gold Standard and should be used when possible, but not any Site supports it. If a Website offers 2FA, it'll be usually one of two Options the YubiKey Supports. It was kinda overwhelming when I started out as well, but you'll get used to it.
